International Project Centre for Research into Events and Situations

Projects

Once through the main doors of The Dynevor Centre for Art, Design and Media, Swansea Metropolitan University, turn left past the reception desk, take the lift to the 7th Floor and ring the doorbell in front of you. This will gain you access to IPCRES‘s experimental laboratory facility.

In here, IPCRES operatives work on experimental pedagogical projects with the aim of provoking the students into finding new ways to frame their creativity.

These projects have their own unique file number and are issued as Mission Briefings. These briefings generate an IPCRES ‘file’ which can grow exponentially as new aspects and perspectives of each experimental assignment are uncovered and subsequently archived.

(See entry on IPCRES Lab)

The physical configuration of the IPCRES Laboratory, in a constant state of flux from the forces of these experiemental projects, is mapped and recorded as a series of layered elevations detailing the flow of creative energy over time.
